Found an article on Chihuly, and it came with the coolest images (of course!). Took some of those to make some unique beauties with wonderful colors. Love the oranges, yellows and reds in these - like a sunset!

The Process...
Each pair starts with a used cork - wine stains and all! Choosing the cork or paper, cutting & trimming, painting & layering, sealing, and finally applying the metals. No machines, no mass production, and no shortcuts involved. Its a labor of love!
